When the fineness of the mill can not meet the flotation requirements, an appropriate amount of small balls can be added. The steel ball in the ball mill is constantly worn during operation. In order to maintain the ball load filling ratio and the reasonable ratio of the ball and maintain the stable operation of the ball mill, it is necessary to perform reasonable ball refilling and low wear and tear. The added weight of the steel ball is based on the quality of the steel ball and the quality of the steel ball, which determines the amount of ore added per ton. It is best to use new wear-resistant steel balls. The best (good quality) steel ball addition is calculated based on the amount of ore processed per ton (that is, 0.8kg per ton of ore is added). General steel balls need to handle one ton of ore (1kg-1.2kg). Different ball mill models have different ratios. The diameter of the ball mill is below 2500mm, and the size of the added steel ball is ф100mm, ф80mm, ф60mm.
